Helen Munro, Director of Helen Munro Property has been specialising in Real Estate for over 30 years and still going strong and is still as passionate and excited about the industry just like she was on her first day. Helen is joined by daughter Tracy Crome, Principal of Helen Munro Property. Together, Helen and Tracy are on a mission to provide the best service for all clients. Tracy believes that ‘you cannot give exceptional service unless you have the ability to walk in the client’s shoes’. This is something Tracy speaks about every day. When making decisions and offering advice, at all times, we need to be mindful of the client’s needs and what would be best for the client…..afterall, it’s about the client and not about us.

Firstly, it’s understanding you as a client whether you are buying, selling, renting or refinancing. We get to know you so we can best assist you in achieving your property goals. The second thing is communication. We are paranoid about the level of communication our team provide. There is a saying…..If they like you, they will listen to you AND if they trust you, they will do business with you. Well, we want you to trust us and we will prove ourselves to you so you trust us immensely and we understand trust is very difficult to gain and very easy to lose; so it’s of the utmost importance to us.

Both Helen, with over 30 years in the industry and Tracy with over 15 years in the industry have seen many changes and challenges but remain determined to be ‘top of mind’ for service, knowledge and passion. Helen and Tracy are Property Specialists and there’s no other job in the world they would want to do.

Helen and Tracy are joined by a fantastic group of people who share the same values and attitude towards the client coming first at all times.

I have lived in Townsville my whole life with the occasional extended holiday overseas. My former profession has been in hairdressing and retail. Moving into Real Estate with Helen and Tracy has been a natural fit and I love it.I also love the beach and there is no better way to start the day than with an early morning ocean swim along the Strand with friends followed by coffee to start the day. I am a born and bred North Queenslander and came to live in Townsville 37 years ago as a single mother with 2 young boys. Initially I worked in local government but when my sons became independent, I decided I would do something I'd always wanted to do; become a “real estate agent”! This was over 28 years ago and I'm still as enthusiastic about what I do and the people I do it for, as I was back then as a "newbie”. Exciting moments such as a sale for the highest price ever at the time in Rupertswood; over $880,000 for a beautiful property. Another for a young couple trying to buy a house and land package on a shoestring many years ago for $52,000 and we did it! Real estate to me, is about the people and their needs and this is what I have done and still continue to do many hundreds of times later.

– I love my role as Contracts Manager because I work extremely close with the Sales Team. I am responsible for the preparation and placement of the marketing and once the properties have sold, I have the great opportunity to work with both Vendors, Buyers and Solicitors to assist in achieving the best outcomes for all involved. I am proud to be a part of the sales team which recognises the importance of the personal service all our clients receive. Another challenging role of mine is to run the office footy tipping competition….lucky I am football mad!! When I am not at work, you can find me at the gym or working away in my garden.

Commencing my career with Helen Munro in 2003, I have gained an enormous amount of experience, hence being promoted to my role of Trust Account Manager…with an endless supply of caffeine!!! I am fiercely protective of each and every one of our Landlords and Tenants. I have had the great joy in experiencing a wedding, 2 beautiful little boys, a trip to China's Great Wall as well as the beautiful beaches of Bali and after all the years working with Helen and Tracy, I am still just as excited to get up and come to work as I was on that very first day back in 2003!

Making sure all the cogs continue to turn and providing training and guidance to our fantastic team of people. Julianne's work colleagues say "Conciliation" should be her middle name as her Conciliation and negotiating skills are exceptional and her focus and aim is to achieve the best outcome for all parties whilst keeping in mind legislation at all times. Working in such a fast pace environment every day and having 4 children doesn't leave much spare time, but when I do have some, I enjoy the outdoors with my family and friends. One day I will write a book about my experiences in Property Management - you would not believe some of the stories I could tell you!!
